Wednesday Sept. 2

Spent the night among the trucks. Bud went over to Big O tire place and they called in an order for our tires. We decided we were really close to our friends (Doyle & Sue and Clyde & LaRue) homes and decided to go visit while the tires were being put on. We left the RV in Nephi and drove up to South Jordan to visit the friends. We all went to Olive Garden for lunch. At lunch they talked Bud into bringing the RV up to Doyle & Sue’s for a few days. Bud and Clyde went to get the RV. Tomorrow we get the grand tour of Salt Lake City, Utah. Going to see the worlds largest open pit copper mine. We’re all wanting to go 150 miles southwest of here to Topaz Mountain but haven’t figured out when to go. The mountain has topaz, garnets, trilobites, apache tears, geodes, white quartz, sunstones, obsidian and agate.........Hope to download some pictures Thursday night.
